So there's going to be a lot of change in the next couple of months:
Firstly, I'm shutting shop whilst I'm on my holidays (26th June - 10th July) and, as I'm moving house directly after (on the 15th July), I don't foresee the general store reopening until the start of August (although I will make decisions on Custom Cakes on an ad hoc basis, so get in touch ASAP if you want a cake for the mid-end of July). There will possibly be another period of closure in August whilst we then refit the kitchen. I can't wait to have more space in the kitchen, a table to hold classes around and a dedicated cake workshop room.
Secondly, once we're all set up and running again, I'm planning to change my website Blog to weekly posts, but adding in another section for recipes and tutorials; hopefully bringing a bit of interest for you all (rather than just hearing about my day to day routine)...
Thirdly, as the shops are now offering a better selection of breads, and generally offering more for people with allergies, I'm dropping my bread line although I'll still make bread for anyone who desires a custom loaf, just drop me a line!
Finally, as I want to put more emphasis on Custom Cakes; the cake store will also be getting an overhaul to offer a better range of 'standard' cakes, and more information will be going in the Custom and Wedding Cake sections.
Hopefully these changes will be something that you all can get behind, but if you have any feedback I'm always excited to hear your thoughts.
